Car hits tree in East Penn

State police at Lehighton are investigating a crash which occurred 4:30 a.m. Saturday along Summer Mountain Road in East Penn Township. The driver of the sport utility vehicle was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics of minor injuries. The operator was traveling south when he lost control leaving the right berm impacting with a tree head-on. The Parryville Fire Company responded.
