Turkey dinners for families in need

The Ladies Auxiliary of the R.W. Fritzinger VFW Post 7215 of Walnutport's 6th annual food drive was a success greatly in part to: left to right, Kathleen Grammes,Trustee; Crystal Kreidler, Auxiliary member; Pat Ohl, treasurer; Miriam Mack, senior vice president; Karen Bandzi, president and District 20 president; Sue Bortz, auxiliary member; Carol Resh, Gold Star Mother and auxiliary member; Crystal Butz, chaplin. Eight deserving families in the Walnutport and surrounding areas were presented a turkey and all the trimmings for their Thanksgiving meal compliments of the members of the Ladies Auxiliary. The turkeys were donated by Thomson's Meat Market, Slatington Fabricators and the Diamond Fire Company. The trimmings were purchased by the members through contributions received by community friends and neighbors during various donation stakeouts held at Redners Market in Northampton and Pathmark/Superfresh in Walnutport.
