Icy roads cause accidents

This Ford Ranger XLT driven by Eugene Strohl of Palmerton slid and crashed into a tree while traveling westbound on Hahn's Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township at around 7:45 a.m. today. Strohl may have sustained possible head injuries, but was conscious when he was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, according to state police at Lehighton. The Palmerton Ambulance, Lehighton Ambulance and Aquashicola Fire Company responded to the scene.
