Lansford Fire company volunteers recognized

The Lansford American Fire Co No 1 recognized its volunteers during their annual Christmas party. Awards and personalized sweaters were given out to volunteer firefighters that routinely showed exemplified support of all goals of the fire company. These volunteers also attended 30 percent of fire calls, 70 percent of trainings, and 50 percent of fundraisers. In addition to these awards, Firefighter of the Year and Jr Firefighter of the Year plaques were awarded. David Aungst received the 2009 Junior Firefighter of the Year award. Jason Diehl received the 2009 Firefighter of the Year award.
