Slatington High School classmates reunite

Several members of the Slatington High School Class of 1937 recently gathered to celebrate the 72-year class reunion.

The event included a lunch held on Sept. 12 at the Terrace Restaurant in Walnutport. Seven members of the original class of 92, were able to attend.

Already in their 90s, the remaining class members have made reservations to celebrate their 73-year reunion in September of 2010.

Class members attending included Lorraine (Snyder) Coffin, Arlene (Kerschner) Oswald, Marie (Henry) Weida, Catherine (Edwards) Ibbotson, Robert Eroh, Mabel (German) Geiger and Betty (Kern) Hoffman.
