Carbon taverncited by PLCB

A Carbon County tavern has been cited the the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office.

S.A.E. Inc, trading as Roosters Boatyard, 251 Canal St., Lehighton, Franklin Township, was cited for used, or permitted to be used on the inside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard outside.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
