Burned pub scene of break-in

A burned Schuylkill County pub is now the scene of two burglaries.

State police at Frackville said Moe's Pub, 59 Water St., New Philadelphia, was forcibly entered twice between Saturday, Oct. 17, and Monday. The pub was gutted by a fire early Saturday morning. Troopers said the building was then secured and on two successive days unknown criminals pried open the boarded up premises on the Wiggan Street side and removed a certain quantity of liquors.

The first entry occurred between 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday and the second between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. on Monday.
