Carbon driver facing DUI count
A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI), following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 1:57 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, along Church Rd., in Penn Forest Township.
State police at Lehighton said Joel Orellana, 27, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla when it left the road, for unknown reasons, and struck a pole. Orellana was not injured.
The DUI charge is pending blood test results, troopers said.
