Thorpe police probing burglary

Jim Thorpe police reported they are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence along Broadview Drive on Oct. 6 during the daylight hours.

Police said the homeowner reported the criminals smashed out a back window to gain entry into the home. Removed were two handguns, money and several knives.
