Man charged with alcohol violation

A Schuylkill County man has been charged with providing alcohol to a minor.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers responded to 100 E. Grande Ave., Tower City, about 12:46 a.m .on Sunday, Oct. 11, to a report of an underage drinking party. At the scene troopers determined that a 17-year-old female was intoxicated.

Charged with providing the girl with the alcohol was Derrick A. Warfel, 21, of the above stated address.
