Lehighton's Ritter completes nuclear power training

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Alex C. Ritter, son of Brenda and Christopher Ritter of Lehighton, recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.

During the course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N. Y, Ritter received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security.

Upon completion of the course, Ritter qualified as a Naval nuclear operator.

Ritter is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and joined the Navy in August 2008.
