Northampton driver facing DUI

A Northampton County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Richard Michael Brescia III, 21, of Bethlehem, was stopped about 3:08 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, along Kunkletown Road, in the area of Ross Road, in Ross Township, for a motor vehicle code violation while driving a 2002 Saturn.

Troopers said he was found to be under the influence.
