Home and car break-ins probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary and a vehicle break-in.

Troopers said the home of Francis J. Bonislawski, 64, of Doolittle Mews, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered sometime between 5 and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Entry was gained by forcing open a second story sliding glass window with a blunt object, troopers said.

Removed from the home was a bag with the logo "Delaware Veterans", blue in color, which contained about $550 in various coins.

The theft from vehicle incident occurred along Mountain Road, in Albrightsville. The vehicle of Pamela Leigh McCormick, 23, was entered and removed was a wallet which was described as being a "Betty Boop" type containing various items belonging to her and Joseph Michael Breuer, 20, both of Albrightsville.
