Two cited for incident in Carbon

Two persons were cited, including a juvenile, following an incident in Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at the corner of Clubhouse Road and Fawn Lane, in Penn Forest Township. Troopers said a 15-year-old male juvenile from Jim Thorpe was punched in the face several times by a 16-year-old male juvenile from Jim Thorpe. Also, Joseph Edward Hughes, 19, also of Jim Thorpe, pushed the victim backwards during the incident.

The 16-year-old and Hughes were both cited for harassment, troopers said.
