October 26, 1956 Ed Kocha scores a pair of touchdowns and the Nesquehoning defense posts a shutout, 20-0, over West Hazleton. Kocha gets his team on the scoreboard by hauling in a 50-yard TD pass from Bob Macenka and later breaks loose for a 45-yard scoring run. Ron Kinek, whose interception earlier in the contest ends a West Hazleton scoring threat, tallies the final Nesquer touchdown on an 11-yard run.
