State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a three-vehicle crash about 5:09 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, along SR61 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County. Troopers said the crash occurred just outside Port Clinton.

According to troopers Stacy A. Harig, 39, of Pottsville, was southbound in the left passing lane while Amber L. Bohrman, 26, of Schuylkill Haven, was northbound in the left passing lane. Troopers said Harig lost control of her 2004 GMC Envoy on the wet roadway and crossed into the northbound lane and collided into Bohrman's 1998 Ford Contour.

After impact Harig's vehicle traveled counter-clockwise and struck a 2006 Mazda 3 driven by Paul P. Sleva, 48, of New Ringgold. After impact with that vehicle the GMC traveled through the northbound lanes and onto the east berm where it came to rest. The other two vehicles came to rest at the point of impact.

Harig and Bohrman were both taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment of injuries while Sleva was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville, for injuries.

Traffic along the busy roadway had to be detoured for a time until the crash scene was cleared.
