Bears beat Indians in MVC volleyball

Pleasant Valley defeated Lehighton 25-17, 25-17, & 25-15 in a MVC match that moved the Bears to 9-2 in MVC and 18-9 overall.

The win ended a two year losing streak with the Indians.

The team effort by the Bears was led by Kayla Dorney with 10 kills, 11 digs and two aces. Priya Patel had 17 assists and 11 digs. Breanna Johnson had six kills and two blocks.

Before the match the Bears recognized their two senior players, Justine Maresca and Priya Patel.

The Bears meet Stroudsburg at home on Monday to finish out the regular season.
