Three are cited in Coolbaugh Twp.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police report three 20-year-olds were arrested on alcohol and drug charges after a traffic stop Oct. 31 at 4:30 a.m. on State Rt. 940 in Coolbaugh Township.

Police said upon making a traffic stop they smelled alcohol upon the driver of the vehicle and two passengers. Police said the department's K-9 dog had a positive alert on the vehicle, after which time police found 14 bags of marijuana in a back pack.

As a result of the probe, Anthony Kalps of Long Pond was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking, while Kenneth Price, also of Long Pond, and Eric Lopez of Albrightsville were cited for underage drinking.
