Two-vehicle crash probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 5:02 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, along Old Route 115 at Meixsell Valley Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Christopher Williams, 34, of Effort, was northbound on 115 and stopped before attempting to turn left. Troopers said Williams passed a vehicle on the right while Jacqueline Corbett, 37, of Saylorsburg, was entering 115 from Meixsell Valley Road. Troopers said Corbett's Ford Escort struck Williams' Chrysler Town & Country van.

Troopers said Williams and two passengers, Jasmin Williams, 31, and Dana Williams, 10, both of Effort, were all transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. Corbett was not injured. Damages were termed heavy to the front ends of both vehicles.
