Jim Thorpe woman reported missing

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Fern Ridge, Maria T. Schmidt of 110 Susquehanna Dr. of Pleasant Valley Estates West in Penn Forest Twp. left her residence on Thursday, Oct. 29 around 10 a.m. and failed to arrive at her destination. She is believed to be depressed and possibly suicidal. Schmidt is driving a 1997 Hyundia Elantra, maroon in color with Pennsylvania registration DVA2814. Schmidt is believed to be heading for the Bucks County or Philadelphia area.
