Stepson charged in Monroe County

A stepson who entered into a domestic altercation with his mother and stepfather was cited by state police at the Fern Ridge and committed to prison after the incident happened.

The altercation took place at 8 a.m. Thursday at 13 Orchard View Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township.

Charged was Justin Marcus Campbell, 19, who resided there with his mother and stepfather. He was arrested for terroristic threats, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and persistent disorderly conduct. Arraigned before District Justice Debby York, he was remanded to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville.

Police said he threatened to harm his mother and stepfather and also damaged personal property of his stepfather totaling about $3,000. He entered the residence that they all lived in after he was told two previous times that he was not allowed to be there.
