Food pantry

The Shepherd House Food Pantry at Ebenezer E.C. Church will be open on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon. Recipients must reside within the Jim Thorpe School District. The pantry is located at 441 Center Ave. in Jim Thorpe. Please call (570) 325-2855 for more information or to volunteer.

Last month the pantry supplied 1,980 meals to those in need in our community. Food donations to the bin at the Jim Thorpe Market are always greatly needed and appreciated.

Perishable items can be dropped off at the church office Monday through Friday, from 9 until noon. Monetary donations can be dropped off or mailed.
