November 13, 1987 Clayton "Skimmer" Andrews scores on three short touchdown runs and Lehighton qualifies for the District 11 Class AAA playoffs with a 28-6 victory over Notre Dame. Andrews, who finishes with 58 yards rushing on 14 carries, hits paydirt on a pair of four-yard runs and a one-yard plunge. The Indians, coached by Dave Parsons, also receive a one-yard TD from Kevin Tracey, who picks up 59 yards on seven attempts. On defense, Lehighton receives an interception from Troy Hartman and sacks from Kyle Hough and Erik Bowman.
