Ranger Rick club meets Saturday

The monthly meeting of the Ranger Rick Club will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center. Meetings are open to children in grades K through six.

The club meets once per month throughout the school year, with each meeting focusing on some aspect of the natural world. The topic for Novembers's meeting is "Seeds and Spores."

The program is free to CCEEC members, and a donation for each child is requested for non members.

CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside of Jim Thorpe, along the Lentz Trail highway.
