Theft of pain medicine probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of prescription pain medicine.

Troopers said Dorothy Dieter, 88, of Lot 34, Penn Ave., Weiner's Trailer Court, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, reported about $30 worth of her medication was taken sometime between 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, and 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
