East Carbon Demos to host speaker
Michael Principe, J.D., Ph.D, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the East Carbon County Democratic Club at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
The meeting will be held at the Penn Kidder Campus Elementary School on Route 903 in Albrightsville.
New members and guests are welcome.
Dr. Principe is a professor of political science at William PatersonUniversity in Wayne, N.J. He is a Visiting Fellow in Comparative Constitutional Law, St. Edmund's College, Cambridge University, England. He earned his Ph.D at theUniversity of California, Santa Barbara; and his J.D. at the University of Washington.
He is a Fulbright Scholar, (awarded in 1990 for 90-91 dissertation research in New Zealand), and is a Visiting Scholar, St. Edmund's College Cambridge University, and Visiting Fellow, St. Edmund's College, CambridgeUniversity
His recent publications include: "Bill Of RIGHTS:A Comparative Constitutional Analysis," Second Edition (2009); "The Constitution, Supreme Court, & Racial Justice in Justice in America," W. Davis, editor, (2009); and "AmericanGovernment," Policy, & Law, second edition(2006).
Dr. Principe is theauthor of four books.
