St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will be participating with the Operation Christmas Child project. Donations will be for 2-4 year olds and 10-14 year olds. Some suggestions are balls, dolls, small toys, stuffed animals, books, hair accessories, T-shirts, socks, hats, etc. All donations, monetary or otherwise may be turned in at the church by Sunday, Nov. 8.
