Tamaqua woman cited for conduct

Tamaqua police responded to an EMS call Sunday night to find Tammy Lynn Steward, 48, of 613 Arlington St., Tamaqua, lying unconscious in the street behind the Chili Dog restuarant. Steward had a strong odor of alcohol about her person and suffered an obvious head wound.

She was transported to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale, in the Tamaqua Community Ambulance.

Following an investigation into the matter Steward was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
