Traffic stop leads to wanted person

A traffic stop by Pcoono Mountain Regional police officers led to the arrest of a wanted person.

Police said a vehicle was stop along Interstate 380 at SR611 on ramp about 9:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4. At the stop the driver was identified as Tasieka S. Woods, 36, of Tobyhanna. On checking her license status it was learned that a active bench warrant was issued for her arrest for failure to appear.

Woods was taken into custody and taken to the county prison in Snydersville.
