Two cited after Monroe incident
Two men was cited following a fight that included the use of a knife, that occurred outside a Monroe County tavern.
Pocono Mountain Regional police officers were dispatched to Madd Anthony's, located along SR115, in Blakeslee, about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, to a report of a fight with a knife involvement. On scene officers were approached by several witnesses who said a man that had been stabbed left the scene in a white in color Jeep.
The other participant in the fight, Christopher Bucano, 26, of Effort, told officers he was jumped by another male after the two had words regarding Bucano's girlfriend.
As the officers were on scene the Jeep in question drove by. Officers were able to stop it and identified the driver as Donald Eastburn, 26, of Lester, Delaware County. Eastburn told officers he received a cut above his right eye and had returned to the scene to "settle the score."
Both Eastburn and Bucano were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of injuries. Both are facing multiple charges, police said.
Pocono officers were assisted at the scene by state police at Fern Rdige, West End and Pcoono Mountain EMS units.
