Trespass, mischief incident probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating a criminal trespass/criminal mischief incident that was reported along Quail Road, in Eldred Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said unknown persons forced open a garage door at the above location and proceeded to slash two tires on a vehicle in the garage and also damaged the vehicle's passenger side quarter panel.

The listed victims are Jerry A. Place, 22, of Saylorsburg, and Destinee N. Tews, 21, of Kunkletown.

The incident occurred sometime between 4 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
