November 3, 1944 "Slingin' Sammy" Fedock throws three touchown passes while the defense posts a shutout as Nesquehoning gains a 25-0 victory over Blythe Township. Fedock throws two of his scoring strikes to Joe Talocci, one for 67 yards and the other for 20. Fedock also tosses a screen pass to Mike McConnon, who races 55 yards for another tally. The Nesquers also receive a one-yard TD run from Maurer. McConnon also intercepts a pass on defense.
