Three vehicle crash in Schuylkill

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a three vehicle, rear-end, type crash about 5:25 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, along SR61 near the Mt. Carbon arch in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Billie D. Bubeck, 34, of Pottsville, was driving a 1994 Mercury Sable when she made a left turn onto 61 and traveled southbound in the left lane. Linda Buchanan, 48, of Auburn, and Robert M. McGovern, 41, also of Auburn, were both southbound in the left lane and slowing down for a red traffic signal. Troopers said Bubeck's Sable struck the rear of Buchanan's 2006 Nissan SL pushing it into the area of McGovern's 1994 Ford F150 pickup truck.

Bubeck sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for treatment. There were no other injuries.

Troopers cited Bubeck for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.

Troopers also reported probing a crash about 6:15 a.m. on Monday along SR901 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County. Troopers said Zorica Jakovljevic, 45, of Danville, entered 901 from Airport Road and was traveling eastbound with Paul D. Zimmerman, 51, of Ashland, behind him.

Troopers said Jakovljevic attempted to make a U-turn in front of Zimmerman and he was unable to stop. The front of his 1992 Jeep Cherokee struck the driver's side door of Jakovljevic's 2002 Volkswagen Passat.

No one was injured. Troopers cited Jakovljevic for turning movements and required signal.
