Two persons were injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 9 pm. on Monday, Oct. 26, along Cherry Hill Lane, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Dorothy M. Warner, 18, of Effort, was driving a 1994 Dodge Shadow northbound when she lost control of the vehicle. The car spun counter-clockwise and went onto the berm where it struck a tree on the driver's side and came to rest.

Warner and passenger Joan H. Adams, 34, of Effort, were flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for what troopers called were moderate injuries. West End ambulance personnel assisted at the scene.

Troopers cited Warner for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
