Woman cited for false ID to police

A Northampton County woman was cited for false identification to law enforcement authorities following an incident about 1:30 a.m. along SR940 at Matirko's Harwared lot in Tobyhanna Township.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at the time and location officers observed a vehicle pulled into the lot near the recycling bins. Officers stopped to investigate and observed a female coming out of the back of one of the bins. The car began to pull away but was stopped.

After speaking with the individuals present Dolores Fleming, 58, of Wind Gap, provided false information by giving the name of her sister and forging her name on documents.

Fleming was cited for the false ID and false reports, police said.
