Rush police probe chicken shoot

Rush Township police are investigating a case of chickens that are being shot on Rogosky St. in Quakake.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 668-4242.

In other incidents reported by township police, on Nov. 12 at 11:31 p.m., William Wagner, 55, of Barnesville, was stopped on Taggertsville Road and is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) and other summary charges. Wagner was taken to the station for a breath test. The breath test results were a .116 percent.

On Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m., Matt Edmonds, 20, of Lansford, was charged with retail theft for stealing two plant grow lights valued at $13.36 at the Walmart store. His accomplice, Marco Baker, 24, of Lansford, is also facing charges

On Nov. 16 at 2:26 a.m., Jason E. Yanett, 26, of Coaldale, was stopped in Taggertsville and is facing DUI and other summary charges. Yanett was taken to the station for a breath test. The breath test results were a .125 percent.
