Woman found on road cited for drunkenness

A Pottsville woman was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness after police found her lying on the road about a mile south of Middleport Tuesday night.

State police Trooper Brian L. Walters of the Frackville barracks spotted Samina L. Borinsky, 20, lying on Mountain Road at 7:50 p.m.

According to Walters' report, Borinsky was so intoxicated she could not get up off the ground. Emergency medical crews from Schuylkill Haven responded and took Borinsky to Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, for treatment.

Charges will be filed with District Judge David Plachko of Port Carbon.
