Monroe teen facing charges

A Monroe County teen is facing charges following an incident about 4:13 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.

State police at Lehighton said a 16-year-old male from Gilbert arrived at the residence of James Denaro, 47, of 200 Stacia Way, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, and proceeded to damage several driveway markers, a sidewalk light and a window screen.

The teen was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He will be charged with underage drinking and criminal mischief, troopers said.
