Hit and run driver sought

A hit and run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Manheim Diner, located along SR61, in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said a female backed her vehicle out of a parking space and struck the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier of Sherry Lynn Rumbel, 21, of New Ringgold, that was parked in the lot.

Troopers said the female was observed getting out of her vehicle, looking a the Cavalier, and then getting back in her vehilce and leaving the scene.

The hit and run vehicle was described as a black in color sports utility vehicle.
