Charges pending in Nesquehoning

Nesquehoning police have reported that charges are pending against Charles Misawic, 138 E. Columbus Ave., after an incident on Nov. 28.

Police said they received a report of a possible drunk driver traveling on Rt. 209 in a vehicle that had struck a PennDOT sign. Police stopped Misawic after which time they found alcohol in the vehicle, along with an open container, as well as suspected marijuana on the driver.

Misawic agreed to a blood test, the results of which are pending.
