Tamaqua boil advisory lifted

The boil advisory issued by the Tamaqua Area Water Authority has been lifted. The advisory was lifted as of Tuesday afternoon. It was imposed on Sunday as the result of the installation of a new 30-inch transmission line.

The authority has apologized for any inconvenience suffered by its customers due to this improvement.
