Rep. Scavello's show airs monthly on TV 13

Rep. Mario M. Scavello (R-Monroe) has a unique monthly cable show that runs several times a week on Blue Ridge Communications Channel 13 on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m., Monday nights at 9 p.m. and Saturday afternoons at 4 p.m.

"If you're interested in state politics and local issues, this half-hour show highlights an important issue each month either in Harrisburg or in Monroe County that is very informative for the residents I represent," said Scavello. "This month I have chosen to weave together several interesting discussions that transpired on the House floor regarding the budget and gambling legislation."

This month's show looks into the budget process and how discussion of gaming revenue factored into the passage of the state budget and pending expansion of gaming in Pennsylvania to table games. That show is running currently, and will be on Channel 13 at the times indicated until Dec. 4.

The next half-hour cable show highlights the Pocono Medical Center and its health care programs. That show runs from Dec. 5 to Jan. 1, 2010.
