Vehicle-deer collide in Carbon

A deer and a vehicle collided along a Carbon County roadway recently.

State police at Lehighton said Patti L. Forgay, 45, of Palmerton, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on SR209 in Towamensing Township, about 5:40 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, when a deer entered the road and the vehicle struck it.

Forgay was not injured but her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
