Santa in Slatington Friday

The Slatington Fire Department will transport Santa from his sleigh parking to the Slatington Memorial Park at 2nd and Main Street (old Slatington High School site) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4. The Community Christmas trees will be lit and Santa will have a surprise for all.

Nativity display

Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at Christ United Church of Christ, 309 Main St., Walnutport with shows every half-hour at 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Members of the congregation will recreate the story of the nativity and they invite the audience to participate in singing Christmas Carols in celebration of the spirit of Christmas.

Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.

Caroling along the canal

Join the Walnutport Canal Association with their annual Caroling Along the Canal experience. Interested carolers should plan on gathering at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at the pavilion. They will stroll along the canal singing familiar Christmas carols and then return to the pavilion for some fellowship and cookies along with coffee and hot chocolate.

Walnutport Canal Association

Heidelberg nativity display

There will be a nativity display from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Heidelberg Union Church, Church and Irvin roads, Saegersville area.
