Free winter band concert at ESU

Both traditional and nontraditional holiday music are on the program of the winter band concert Sunday, Dec. 13, at East Stroudsburg University.

Curtain time for the concert is 7 p.m. at the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Composer Clifton Williams dramatic band work "Caccia and Chorale," will be the featured piece. Other selections include music from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride."

The woodwind ensemble and the flute ensemble will present pre-show mucic for the concert.

The performance is open to the public at no cost. Donations will be accepted.
