Nesquehoning citations issued
Nesquehoning police reported on the following citations issued by officers.
On Dec. 6 Chief Sean Smith cited Benjamin Snyder, of Danville, for operating a vehicle with five children in the car under eight years of age and two being toddlers, with no child seats or booster seats. He was cited for restraint systems.
Also on Dec. 6 about 11:20 a.m. Officer Robert Blisard cited Lissette Cruz, 410 W. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, for driving under suspension along SR209 and W. Railroad St.
Other drivers, not identified by police, were cited. They included Officer Timothy Wuttke citing two drivers on Dec. 3, one for going through a red traffic light at Mermon Ave. and SR209, and another for speeding along SR209 and SR93 in the area of Macaluso's Restaurant going 59.4 miles-per-hour in a 40 zone.
On Dec. 6 Blisard cited a driver for a windshield obstructions for not removing ice/frost from the windshield.
On Dec. 10 Officer Brian White issued a citation at 1:25 a.m.. for an expired inspection sticker and another driver was cited about 12:05 a.m. for going the wrong way on a one way street at Ratcliff St. and SR209.
