Rush Police make retail theft arrests

Rush Township police responded to two incidents of retail theft and an altercation at a bowling alley.

Ian Parliament, 22, of Barnesville, is facing retail theft charges after allegedly stealing $11.96 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Hometown on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m.

Two juveniles are facing charges after they participated in a mutual fight at the Spare Time Bowling Center in Hometown on Nov. 26 at 8:55 p.m.

Rebecca A. Mcelhenny, 28, and Michael C. Linkchorst, 29, both of Shenandoah, were arrested for an incident on Nov. 30 at 6:38 p.m.

McElhenny is facing retail theft and other charges and Linkchorst is facing charges of assisting McElhenny and harassment.

The duo allegedly attempted to steal nine items of merchandise which had a total value of $266.74 from Wal-Mart.
