Monroe burglary under police probe

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 1 p.m. Nov 9 and 8 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

The victim is a 59-year-old Brook Haven, N.Y., man.

He told police someone forced open a rear entrance door of the home. The police report does not indicate if anything was stolen or not.

The property is located along Scenic Drive South in the township.
