Cops investigating identity theft case
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an identity theft case in Carbon County.
The victim is Jacqueline Fink of Albrightsville.
Police said the incident happened at 20 Parker Trail, Towamensing Trails, whereby an unknown actor attempted to use the victim's identity to gain $25,446.04.
The incident, which was reported at noon Thursday, is under further investigation.
