Palmerton man facing DUI charges

Matthew Douglas Tracey, 36, of Palmerton, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop Wednesday at 3:47 p.m. along Rt. 209 at Trachsville Road in Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation after which time police determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia.
